TIC-TAC
TIC - TAC – Training, Information, Cooperation - Towards Active Citizenship
Short Description
TIC-TAC aims at establishing a long lasting partnership between numerous and different kind of stakeholders such as LA
associations, CSOs, LAs and Research centers, raising their awareness about the importance to act as “active citizenship
activators” and promote a greater sense of ownership of the EU. For creating a sustainable partnership, it is necessary to
built a common background and knowledge about how the EfC programme works and a common method for drafting/
implementing good quality projects. It is also necessary to share and discuss the setting-up and the functioning of a
platform for the exchange of good practices and information about the programme. The exchange of good practice
between old, new and future EU member states may favour a wider engagement in addressing European challenges. The
activities foreseen, that include training, information and cooperation elements, will assure the creation of a network
involving a wide number of different programme stakeholders, promoting thus the so-called “cross-fertilization”; the
employment of ICT will also facilitate this process.
Objectives
The project aims at involving LAs, CSOs and other stakeholders in the debate, reflection, action and at raising awareness
on the addressed topics, mobilizing them in bridging cultural barriers. It should reflect on social cohesion and social
innovation through the exchange of ideas and good practice. The debate on the future of the EU in the 2020 perspective
will be given high consideration. For this reason during the international Fair of Citizenship several workshops on these
key EU priorities will be organized.
