C.A.S.E.S. WORK
Collaborative and Social Enterprises as a new model of economic activity and WORK opportunity.
C.A.S.E.S. WORK PROJECT A Leonardo da Vinci Partnerships involving 15 partners from different European countries.
Background: the collaborative consumerism Times are changing. The twentieth century saw the emergence of a society of consumerism. Today, the economic and environmental crisis affects the beha-vior and lifestyles of consumers. Collaborative forms of consumption that are currently being developed are characterized by the primacy of the use of an object or product on his property. They are realized by sha-ring practices, lease, exchange, loan, gift, barter and also by recycling objects and products. These consumerist practices spread across sectors of consumption, and ICT is usually used in order to organize and expand trade.
The collaborative economy These consumption patterns affect the economy startups in their creative and innovative atmosphere, and they are positioned on the new forms of sharing and direct exchange between individuals. They will develop a model economy in which peer-to-peer, community, participatory and distributed models transform all the economic activities, of production to the distribution of goods and resources, through ser-vices and collaborative lifestyles. A number of collaborative projects revolves around the Social and Solidarity Economy, eg global networks of nonprofit recycling "Freecycle" "or sharing accommodation by backpackers’ 'CouchSurfing', and also the forms of networks that constitue the joint purchase and solidarity groups... In this changing landscape, we also see the emergence of more and more collaborative forms of work and investment, often identifiable by the use of words as co-(root word) : «collaboration» or «crowd», as crowd funding, crowd sourcing, co-creation, co-working ...
